Summary: Your ghost hunter parents force you to move into the murder house with them in hopes of being able to talk to the spirits of the house. However, one spirit in particular makes the move worthwhile.
Warnings: none.

“You seriously made me move to this dump, and for what? To talk to dead people about the glorious life they lived before they were murdered here?” You sighed, bringing a box upstairs to your room as you ranted aloud, not caring if your parents heard you or not. “Hey, Y/N, let’s move to a scary place where more than ten people were murdered, and while we’re at it, let’s piss the spirits off with questions that may be triggering, but let’s pray for the best and hope we make it out alive.”
Your mother chuckled at your overdramatic words as she passed you going up the stairs, her smile bright, as if she wasn’t intimidated by the spooky tension around the house, as if she was fearless. “Y/N, you know the team needs this, and besides, this house is beautiful, and incredibly cheap. We wouldn’t have forced you to move here if we didn’t think it was a bad idea.”
“You’re forgetting the part where more than ten people died here.”
Once again, your mother chuckled, patting your shoulder gently as you reached for another box. “Death is natural, honey.”
You rolled your eyes, bringing your last and final box upstairs to your room. Once you closed the door behind you, you looked around your new room, furniture placed randomly, and boxes waiting to be unpacked. But you didn’t unpack, instead you moved to your bed and lied down, staring up at the ceiling, a calm feeling wavering over you.
“Someone kill me and get it over with.”
“That can be arranged.”
You snapped up, your head turning every which way, searching for the random voice that spoke right after you. Not finding anyone, you pulled your knees to your chest, resting your chin on them as you took deep breaths to calm your anxiety.
“I was only joking.”
There they were. The voice that spoke twice now, sat next to you on your bed. You wanted to scream, but you knew it wouldn’t get you anywhere, so you stayed silent, and stared at the gorgeous blonde beside you, watching as lips formed into a smile.
