Why I Stopped Doing FX Makeup On My Channel As Often
I have by no means covered everything I'd like to have covered in this video- or it would've been an hour long, but I hope it gives some insight into the decisions I've been making for my channel. I understand that Youtube is a business first, and will thus want to protect it's advertisers first, but I urge Youtube to *actually* listen to its creators to help find a happy medium where they can protect both their advertisers, and the people who shape this amazing community. No more curated copy & pasted PR responses. No more gaslighting. No more secrecy. No more favoritism or special treatment. We don't need things our way, we just want open and honest communication about what it being done, when things go wrong, and how we can adapt our content to survive on this platform....(okay not gunna lie, working notifications would be nice, too).
