People will SPD get ACTUAL anxiety when their sensory sensitivities are triggered. Is there a good reason to *not* support them? I honestly don't think there is. P.s. I have advocated for myself SO MANY times in my personal life/relationships and it has literally changed my life for the better. Advocate for yourself (and/or your children). Tell those around you what is going on and what you need. It WILL make a difference.
